“Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.”
-Elizabeth Andrew

When we decided our studio would serve a greater purpose than simply acting as a central hub to service the accounts we currently had, we quickly decided that serving those who serve the community was going to be a central focus of our growth and development. Cheryl Brandberg and the folks at Community Housing Solutions (CHS) were introduced to us, and after a few brief conversations we agreed to provide photography for a one-day event in High Point, just a few blocks from our studio dubbed “Operation: In As Much”, where teams of volunteers with the help and support from CHS staff teams would descend on five homes in need of repair and provide much needed improvements for the safety and well-being of needy families. As we went from home to home, documenting the progress throughout the day, we were amazed at the caring and giving nature of the men and women using their time and talents for such a worthy cause. We were fortunate to be able to have this experience, and it, among others like it reaffirmed our initial idea that there are so many worthy causes in and around our community, and the more attention we can bring to those movements and charitable organizations, the better we will all be for it. We will continue to work and serve those who make a difference, and we hope by giving their deeds exposure we can encourage others to make an impact in their world.
